"Il Rosa Nudo" (Naked Rose) is an experimental film inspired by the life of Pierre Seel and his autobiography cowritten with Jean Le Bitoux, who was one of the most important activists for GLBT rights in France and in Europe. Talking about Pierre Seel's dramatic history, means to remark the abominations made by Nazis towards homosexuals. Naked Rose focuses on an episode which will mark forever the existence of Pierre Seel, who was imprisoned at the very young age of seventeen: deported to Schimerck, he assisted to the atrocious death of his partner.
